Continuous fluid bed dryer, also called vibrating fluid bed dryer, is an industrial drying equipment used to dry powder or solid materials like granules or bulks. Its working principle is based on the following: moisturized materials are moving forward continuously under the combined action of vibration and air stream, during the movement of moisturized materials, hot air passes through it and is exhausted with damp air, and finally the dry materials are discharged from the outlet. Product Details of Continuous Fluid Bed Dryer

The difference of continuous fluid bed dryer and ordinary fluid bed dryer lies in their operation mode. The continuous fluid bed dryer feeds and drys materials continuously without interval while ordinary fluid bed dryer usually feeds and drys in a batch. So, continuous fluid bed dryer is often used in the large volume production line while the latter is used in a small or medium scale of applications.

In addition, the drying materials they deal with are also slightly different. The former is mainly adopted to dry tablets, granules, various chemical substances such as boric acid and borax, edible sugar, edible salt, beans, seeds, etc. While fluid bed dryer are mainly used to dry powders, small particles and granules.

First, Raw materials enter the machine from the inlet. Then materials moves forward continuously along the fluid bed inside the machine under the action of vibration. During the process, hot air stream passes through the damp materials evenly and takes away the moisture. Damp air is exhausted from the exhaust outlet after dust removal in the cyclone separating device, and the dried materials are finally discharged from the discharge outlet.
