Product Details of SPA 1 Powder Auger Filling Machine

The SPA 1 Powder Auger Filling Machine measures the material by controlling the number of rotations or the time of the screw’s rotation and fills it into the packaging container. The metering device is actually a kind of screw propeller. During the filling process, the material is first driven into the conduit by the agitator. Subsequently, under the rotational force of the screw, it is filled into the packaging container via the valve. The screw can be controlled by a timer or counter for the number of rotations, thereby controlling the filling capacity.

The SPA 1 Powder Auger Filling Machine provides two measurement methods:

  • Volume Measurement

The material is filled into a “fixed-volume metering unit”, and then all the material in this unit is poured into the container. The filling volume is determined by controlling the volume of the metering unit.

  • Weighting Measurement

This way is directly based on the weight of the material. The weight is fed back in real time through a weighing sensor, and the filling stops when the preset weight is reached. It is not affected by changes in material density and fluidity.

SPA 1 Powder Auger Filling Machines are mainly used for the measurement of powder or small granular materials. They are particularly suitable for materials that are prone to bridging at the discharge port and are not easy to fall off, such as coffee and flour. However, they are not suitable for filling fragile flaky materials or materials with large variations in apparent density. Its main advantages are compact structure, fast filling speed, no dust flying, and high filling accuracy. The measurement range can be expanded by changing the parameters of the screw.
