The ground material is thrown radially outward under the centrifugal force of the high-speed rotating hammer, the particles undergo high-speed hammering, shearing, and colliding actions with each other, against the inner walls of the grinding chamber, and with the blades. The particles that meet the required specifications pass through a screen into the collection device, completing the grinding process. A star-shaped discharge valve is installed between the hopper and the grinding chamber. By adjusting the rotational speed, the discharge rate can be controlled, feed is ensured to be uniform, and dust generation during the grinding process is prevented.

Our compact hammer mill is suitable for most dry, non‑sticky, and moderately friable materials, including:

  • Grains – corn, wheat, rice, oats, barley
  • Herbs & Spices – cinnamon, pepper, ginger, turmeric
  • Pharmaceutical ingredients – tablets, powders, excipients
  • Chemical products – pigments, resins, fertilisers
  • Food ingredients – sugar, salt, breadcrumbs, dried fruits (with low oil content)

For oily, wet, or highly fibrous materials, we recommend a preliminary test to confirm performance.
