Dry granulation
Dry granulation does not add liquid; it relies on mechanical pressure (such as rolling or extrusion) to cause internal agglomeration between powder particles, thus agglomerating the particles. Applicable materials include: 1. Water-sensitive and water-sensitive materials (such as antibiotics and vitamins); 2. Materials that easily disintegrate and aggregate when exposed to water; 3. Powders with poor jellyfish properties but capable of oxygen compression. This process is preferred for high-value-added pharmaceuticals with strict stability requirements, such as biological agents, heat-tempered materials, and effervescent membrane raw materials. Wet granulation

Powders requiring improved flowability and compressibility (such as most oral tablet raw materials); 3. Low-dose drugs (for easy uniform dispersion). This process is the mainstream process for oral solid dosage forms (tablets, capsules) and is suitable for the large-scale production of most conventional drugs, especially for scenarios requiring improved powder flowability and compressibility.
